Thursday, December 8, 2011
1:30 - 2:30 PM EST / 10:30 - 11:30 AM PST

ICD-10 is a game changer. No question. When it comes to your hospital’s reimbursement, the implications are profound, the impact uncertain.
Now, for the first time, a frank and practical presentation on the impact of ICD-10 on your reimbursement — specifically its impact on MS-DRGs/CMS-DRGs, IPF-PPS, MS-LTC-DRGs, IRF-PPS, RUG, HHRGs, APCs & ASCs, HCCs, HEDIS, together with professional fee, & liability cases.
By October 1, 2013 HIPAA covered entities will need to determine just where they intend to be along the spectrum of simple compliance to strategic advantage with ICD-10-CM/PCS.
During the transition to the two new code sets, you will have an opportunity to improve documentation and preserve code assignment, and in some cases, improve reimbursement.
But you won’t be successful unless you know how ICD-10-CM/PCS will impact reimbursement at your facility.
